This 2-day budget gorilla trek safari takes you to the misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is home to more than half the population of the remaining 880 Mountain Gorillas. The forest offers a unique birding opportunity, cultural experiences, a scenic allure of stunning hills and lush vegetation inhabited by the elusive primates. Day by Day
Day 1. Drive To Volcan National park.
Meet with our Drive at your hotel in Kigali At 9 am, this will be followed by introduction with briefing about your trip. go for a short the city tour , visit Gisozi Genocide memorial site, after your driver/guide will transfer you to Ruhengeri for over night at either Muhabura or Kinigi guest house You will arrive late in the afternoon, check in at the your lodge for a well-earned evening meal and a good night’s rest.

Day 2. Gorillas Tracking in Volcanoes National Park.
After an early breakfast, report to the Park Offices for formal registration. Drive to the Volcanoes national park for the lifetime experiences of tracking the mountain gorillas.
Gorilla tracking in the park National Des Volcanoes can entail anything from 1-8 hours but seeing and staying with the gorillas for one hour track through the forest, led by experienced trackers who have spent their entire lives living in or close to the forest. Your track will be enchanting as you weave through overhanging vines, moss-covered hagenia trees and giant lobelias that thrive in the tropical climate. After tracking drive back to Kigali for your evening flight.

What to Bring:
You must bring appropriate walking or hiking shoes as trainers are not suitable for the forest terrain. Waterproof clothing, preferably dark in colour as bright colours will attract insects, is necessary since the forest is at high altitude so there is a good chance of rain. Remember to bring high-factor sunscreen and a hat too, most of all don’t forget your yellow fever vaccination card.
